Adult Studio Exploration Full Term & “Taster” classes

The Studio Exploration concept means that you can set yourself on a course of discovery in any of a number of media, be it drawing/ dry media, painting various media or mixed media techniques. We have the art supplies to get you started and help you to find your passion and express yourself. The class include starters and continuers and we like to customise your experience – so let’s have a chat before you begin and decide where to start ! If you intend to participate for the whole Term, we can negotiate your learning plan before the Term begins.

For those wanting to attend a “TASTER* session for a selected topic or medium / technique ( eg drawing in dry media, watercolour, acrylic. mixed media etc) we can offer any of these media and techniques in any session but you will need to book in ahead of time, and we can negotiate your learning experience before the session. Kindly allow at least a couple of weeks prior to attending so we can work this out with you.

PRACTICAL Gain practical media skills in the studio; techniques & experiments using a range of different media including drawing and painting, graphic techniques, digital art, craft & mixed media, printing and sometimes using natural materials, recycling / repurposing and a lot of imaginative experimentation.

STYLES Are you interested in making work that is .... Abstract / Impressionist / Expressionist / Realistic / Stylised / Graphic / Minimalist / you-name-it ? Do you love landscapes / portraits / nature / dreams / stories / cultural traditions / you-name-it? We aim to build your skills so you can create and interpret things you love in your way.
